I’m a writer, yoga teacher, and science communicator.
More than anything else, the world we live in suffers from a lack of connection. As our modern lifestyle brings people further apart from one another and their own bodies, it becomes harder find meaning in the world around us. In every piece I write, I try to make connections, between science and society, the world outside and the world within, and myself and other people.
I believe that knowledge is most valuable when shared. Through my work, I hope to communicate the joy and beauty of the natural world along with the complex inner workings of the mind and the body. My passion is to tell stories that re-connect people to the world around them, and, eventually, themselves.
Audio storytelling is my passion, and the form that speaks to me most deeply. I love to write scripts, cut tape, speak on air, mix in music and sound effects, and transcribe spoken words. I’m an advanced vocal equalizer and audio editor. I’m proficient with both Adobe Audition and Audacity software.
In high school, I offered to edit an online book for free because I had trouble reading past the simple grammatical errors. Since then, I’ve made a living helping others express their passion clearly and elegantly. Check out my editing page for more.
I’m an enthusiastic writer and science journalist. My training has prepared me as a dedicated researcher, determined interviewer, and enthusiastic listener. I love to tell stories, and bring my own unique voice to any topic. Check out some of my articles to get a sense of what I do.
There are few things more satisfying than creating beautiful graphic and web design. I love to create content and design websites that fit a brand’s atmosphere. I’m especially comfortable working with WordPress software. I would love to help you get your website or blog up and running!
